New York City hotels are pairing up with certain shoe brands. The newly reopened Mark Hotel will offer exclusive John Lobb polishing service. Downtown at the Ace, staff will get special rain gear from Tretorn and the gift shop will carry an exclusive line of Strala Vinter ankle boots come fall.
The Upper East Side's newly revamped stalwart status hotel, the Mark, has partnered with John Lobb, a French shoe company, on a polishing service specially taught by Lobb himself. The company will also provide special co-branded house shoes for guests to wear while they wait for their shiny new kicks.
The Ace Hotel has quickly become the epicenter of hipster cool and will up its precious cred by outfitting staff in Tretorn outdoor gear. Tretorn sure is making a push in the city - it recently opened its first Soho store. Then, in October, the hotel's gift shop will offer a special Strala Vinter ankle boot in a colorway exclusive to the hotel.
Wonder what else wannabe chic sneaker companies got kickin' around. . .
