Tired of not knowing where to go when looking for prospective dates?

Enter WeePlaces, a startup company that uses data from Foursquare to chart check-ins, and mines that data for the places in both New York and San Francisco that have the best girl/guy or guy/girl ratios.

The data is compiled into a chart, called the Ratio Finder, and it has just been released to the public. Most of the data comes from downtown Manhattan or the hipster enclaves of Brooklyn, probably because that’s where most of the users of Foursquare users are located.

Some interesting results: For anyone looking to pick up guys, the Apple Store seems to be a great place to do it; all three Apple locations in Manhattan have a higher ratio of guys.

For anyone looking to meet a girl should try checking out the beaches, as Coney Island, Fort Tilden, and Jones Beach in Wantagh all skew female. If you’re looking for a date with some brains, not all museums are created equal.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Natural History have more female patrons, while the Guggenheim and the MoMA skew more towards guys.

Check it out, along with Wee Places, for yourself here.
