2011 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Nominees Include Altuzarra, Suno

For years, the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund has offered serious money ($300,000 for the winner, and $100,000 for two runners-up) for up-and-coming labels. Here are this year's nominees; The winners will be announced Nov. 14.
Suno by Max Osterweis and Erin Beatty: Osterweis introduced an innovative, socially conscious concept when he launched the brand with Beatty in 2008, producing a small collection from vintage textiles from his native Kenya. Now, the industry is wild for the line's prints, which also source from India, Nepal and Peru.
