Four children with special needs had minor injuries after a truck crashed into a school bus and caused it to flip over on Staten Island Wednesday morning.

The Department of Education said the children, along with a bus matron and the driver, were taken to the hospital after the crash near Oakdale Street and Preston Avenue in Eltingville around 8 a.m.

The driver, 70, was also said to have injuries.

The children included a kindergartner, second-grader, third-grader and fifth-grader.
