Police have arrested a man they say set a rack of clothes on fire at a store in a Long Island mall earlier this year.

Denzel Jones, 23, is accused of hiding in a stockroom bathroom at a Massapequa Forever 21 until the store was locked up and everyone was gone before stealing money from the store's cash box June 30.

Then, police say, the man set the clothes ablaze before leaving. The store's sprinkler system extinguished the fire.

Jones was arrested Tuesday and is charged with second-degree arson, third-degree burglary and reckless endangerment. It's not known if the man has an attorney.
