The New Designers Behind Your Favorite Labels
Bill Gaytten, Creative Director of John Galliano: English designer Bill Gaytten, who worked beside John Galliano for 23 years, is now Creative Director of both the John Galliano men's and women's collections. The designer also took a bow following Christian Dior's latest haute couture collection leading many to speculate that he is in the running to take over that house as well. He still has a lot to do to win over his harshest critics. Cathy Horyn made a swipe at the designer in the New York Times saying, “I like Mr. Gaytten. He’s a sweetheart, but he is not a designer.”
