Ex-NY Crew Coach Accused of Raping Two Girls on Team

NBC10.com

A former volunteer assistant coach for a Hudson Valley high school crew team has been indicted on rape charges involving two team members.

Ulster County District Attorney Holley Carnright tells local media that a grand jury on Tuesday indicted 22-year-old Kevin Quick of the town of Kingston on four counts of rape and one count of committing a criminal sexual act.

Carnright says Quick is charged with having sex with two female members of the Kingston High School crew team who were under 17, the age of consent.

Quick was charged last May following an investigation by the county sheriff's office. He wasn't a Kingston school district employee or authorized by the district to work with the team.

Information on his lawyer wasn't available.
