Then on Monday, Oct. 1, at about 9:30 a.m., he forced his way into 7267 7th Avenue, assaulted the 41-year-old woman living there and again stole cash.

Both victims were treated at a hospital and released.

Police have identified the suspect as 21-year-old Faisal Shafi of Stillwell Avenue in Brooklyn. He is about 5 feet 10 inches and 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential
