Here's a look at two of the newest rooftop bars in town, Lovage Rooftop and The Heights at the Arlo NoMad hotel.
The Lovage Rooftop in Midtown Manhattan offers 360-degree views of New York City. You can take in the sites of One World Trade, the Hudson River and the lights of Times Square all while sipping on a tiki-inspired cocktail. Lovage opens at 5 p.m. seven days a week. More on Lovage here.
Lovage is serving up Tiki-inspired cocktails this season, including the "Tropical Storm," the "Hula Hurricane" and the "Havana Daquiri." You can take a look at the bar's specialty cocktail menu here.
Pictured here is Lovage's "Kiwi Kolada," which includes Grey Goose, Kiwi, coconut cream and lime.
Lovage also serves up tasty small plates, including this burrata.
This sandwich featuring bacon, lettuce and avocado is also included on Lovage Rooftop's small plates menu.
The Heights, which resides on the 31st floor of the Arlo NoMad hotel offers some of the best views of the Empire State Building. It's also a great spot to celebrate summer Fridays, as it opens at 2 p.m., according to its website. Get more information on The Heights here.
The refreshing cocktails at The Heights are named after New York City neighborhoods.
The Heights also offers up some small plates for those looking to enjoy a bite while they sip on a summery cocktail and take in the view. Various pizzas are included on the menu.
The glass floor at The Heights makes you feel like you're on top of the world. Well, New York City at least.
