Long Island Man Arrested in Stabbing Death of NYC Man: Police

It was not immediately clear what lead to the fatal stabbing

A Long Island man was arrested in connection to the stabbing death of a 21-year-old Brooklyn resident, police said Monday.

Kevin Hall, 22, of Patchogue, allegedly stabbed Jaiquan Thorne, 21, to death in Brooklyn early Sunday morning, police said. 

Thorne was discovered on Fennimore Street in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens at about 5:50 a.m. Sunday, police said.

Hall and Thorne knew each other, but it was not immediately clear what lead to the fatal stabbing, police said.

He was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, authorities said.
