Indictment: Man Sought Webcam Sex Show With Child

Prosecutors say a New Jersey man sent child porn images and videos to a federal agent posing as the mother of a young girl so she would arrange a webcam sex show in which the girl would perform sex acts on her father.

Andrew Derrickson faces numerous counts in an indictment handed up Tuesday by a state grand jury, including attempted aggravated sexual assault of a child under 13 and attempted manufacturing of child pornography. The 50-year-old Lindenwold man remains jailed on $100,000 bail and it's not known if he has retained an attorney.

Prosecutors say Derrickson allegedly engaged in an online chat last year with the agent who posed as a mother with an 11-year-old daughter. Derrickson allegedly agreed to send videos and images of child porn in exchange for the "mother" arranging the webcam sex show.

Derrickson allegedly sent about 75 images and videos overall to the agent, including numerous images of girls being sexually assaulted. He allegedly used a screen name during the chats, but investigators tracked the computer address to his home, where they executed a search warrant last October.

Prosecutors say a forensic examination of Derrickson's computer revealed about 227 images and 925 videos of suspected child porn.

Derrickson faces several decades in prison if convicted on all counts.
