7 New York Bars Land on List of America’s Best

Esquire magazine has released its annual list of the best bars in America, and seven of the 24 bars that made the cut are right here in New York.

The Bar Room at the Beekman Hotel in the Financial District doesn't only serve up delicious classic cocktails with a twist, it is also one of the more Instagram-worthy bars on this list. More on The Bar Room here.
If you're heading to ROKC in Hamilton Heights, don't expect to get your drink in a traditional glass. Drinks are served in eggshells and lightbulbs, among other things, at this Tokyo-style cocktail bar. More on ROKC here.

Slowly Shirley in Greenwich Village is hidden beneath another bar, the Happiest Hour, but has a much different vibe. Esquire says Slowly Shirley transports you back to "Hollywood circa 1947." More on Slowly Shirley here.
