The SAG awards and some star-studded parties yielded majorly chic outfits this week, including January Jones in Carolina Herrera and Whitney Port rocking a (very) orange blazer.

Ginnifer Goodwin displayed her sophisticated style sense wearing a glittery Monique L'Huillier cocktail dress to the "Children Awaiting Parents" benefit. We think this outfit is a perfect example of the good things that can happen when personality and style are totally in-sync.

The always-adorable Rachel Bilson attended the premiere of "Waiting for Forever" clad in a ruffled gray dress by Burberry. We love the way the contrasting black piping gives the dress a sense of structure.

Boy, do we love us some Dita Von Teese. The impeccably coiffed star wore a champagne sequin dress by Jenny Packham to the Lambertz Monday Night 2011 Schoko & Fashion party in Cologne, Germany. Danke, Dita!

Major props to Anne Hathaway for choosing an off-kilter outfit by Marni for a very mainstream promo event, specifically, the premiere of the new animated Disney movie, "Rio."

January Jones--who we're tempted to dub fashion's official "Miss January" after all the killer red carpet dresses she wore last month--was a gilded-gold vision in this embroidered Carolina Herrera. How, we wonder, does she get that platinum blonde cowlick to stay perfectly in place?

Another favorite from SAG was this chocolate brown sequin gown (and matching lip) on Paz de la Huerta. A tricky look to pull off, but de la Huerta's over-the-top red carpet confidence made it convincing.

This week, Whitney Port started promoting her new book, "True Whit," all over the country. One such occasion yielded this cute colorful ensemble--dead on trend for the technicolor season ahead.

Kate Moss is always a street style favorite, but this camel frock coat and matching floppy fedora is one of her best sidewalk looks of the season. A tiny chanel bag and opaque black tights give it a classic feel.

Helen Mirren is a seriously underrated style icon. The actress can always be depended on to make classy yet unexpected outfit choices. This week, Mirren stepped out in a gleaming gold Jacques Azagury dress (and matching gloves--not pictured) for the premiere of "Brighton Rock."
New Yorker Brooke Shields was pretty in pink wearing a belted magenta number on the set of FOX & Friends.
