“Teen Mom” Amber Portwood Arrested in Domestic Abuse Case: Reports

MTV reality star Amber Portwood is reportedly behind bars, arrested Monday in Anderson, Indiana on domestic violence charges.

Prosecuters charged the 20-year-old “Teen Mom” star with two felony counts of domestic battery, one felony count of neglect of a dependent and one misdemeanor count of domestic battery stemming from three incidents over the course of a year, according to reports.

Some of the alleged attacks on Gary Shirley, the father of her 2-year-old daughter, were caught on tape.

Portwood’s bail has been set at $5,000, pending a 24-hour hold, according to TMZ.

If convicted of all charges, she could face up to three years in jail and be fined $10,000, E! News reported.

"Amber is scared," her brother, Shawn Portwood, told E! "Gary is here with us. He's upset, too."
