  • A new procedure turns stomach fat into fake breasts. A new surgery takes unwanted fat from the stomach or thigh area and transforms it into breast implants that look and feel more natural than silicon. More than 2,500 women have requested the bosom-boosting procedure. 
     
  • A seal pup is set to get evicted from his Hawaii home for being too friendly. KP2 was raised by humans and often swims with them but his human playmates could get hurt once the baby monk seal grows bigger, experts fear. The pup, who was rejected by his mother, doesn't seem to know he's a seal and can't understand his own strength.
     
  • Potentially harmful bacteria could be raining down on you during your daily shower. A new study shows that the biofilm that clings to the interior of showerheads can have as much as 100 times the levels of pathogens found in municipal water. About 30 percent of showerheads had significant levels of a pathogen linked to pulmonary disease.  
     
  • The Spirit rover on Mars may be stuck on the red planet for good. It became stuck in soft soil in May more than five years into a mission that was originally intended to last only three.
