Woman, 55, Found Unconscious in BK Home Dies

    A 55-year-old woman died after she was found unconscious with head trauma inside a Brooklyn brownstone. Checkey Beckford reports. (Published Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013)

    A 55-year-old woman found unconscious with severe head trauma in a Brooklyn brownstone has died, authorities said. 

    Police say a neighbor found the woman, identified by authorities as Elizabeth Borst, unresponsive on the floor of her Cobble Hill apartment at 388 Clinton St. late Friday night and called 911. She was taken to Long Island College Hospital where she was later pronounced dead. 
    The medical examiner said an autopsy is scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
    Police have not said yet whether criminality is suspected or if there was any sign of forced entry.
    Crime scene investigators were seen Saturday collecting evidence at the home.
