A Long Island man caught speeding through a school zone Thursday morning has had his driver's license suspended or revoked 30 times in the past, authorities said.

A police officer noticed the 41-year-old man speeding in a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee through a school zone in Bellport at about 8:30 a.m., Suffolk County police said.

When the officer stopped the driver, Eric Mann of East Patchogue, he discovered his license had been yanked 30 times.

Mann was charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and was issued a summons for speeding in a school zone.

He's being held pending his arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip Friday. It wasn't immediately clear if he had an attorney.
