Jemmy Delva donates blood at the New York Blood Center.

Here's a chance to do a double good deed.

The New York Blood Center will give $10 to the city's Fire Department for every pint of blood donated during their Critical Days Program. It starts Friday and runs through Jan. 11.

The effort also helps remedy the drop in blood donations that tends to occur over the holidays.

The money will be split among two Fire Department scholarship funds, and the fund for fire widows and children.

Participants have to mention the blood drive group number, 4-FDNY.
