A bicyclist has died after being hit by two cars while riding on a busy Brooklyn thoroughfare.

Police say Victor Lopez was biking southbound against traffic on New Utrecht Avenue Friday morning when he was hit by a 2008 Honda heading north.

Then he was hit by another 2008 Honda. It was traveling west on a side street that intersects the avenue. It's in the Borough Park neighborhood.

Rescuers pronounced the 49-year-old Lopez dead at the scene.

Police say the accident is still under investigation, but they haven't charged the drivers at this point.
