Multiple fire departments fought a large fire that ripped through a commercial building in Belleville, N.J. Friday.

Multiple fire departments were called in to fight a large fire ripping through a residential building in an Essex township Friday night. 

The fire started inside the three-story building at 472 Washington Ave. in Belleville, N.J. started after 8 p.m., the Belleville Fire Department said. It quickly spread to other buildings, reaching four alarms at one point. 

It was knocked out by 10:30 p.m. No injuries have been reported.
