The Oprah Winfrey Show may be leaving town, but the studio that produced it will remain firmly planted in Chicago.

"We're not going anywhere," Sheri Salata, executive producer for "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and newly promoted president of Harpo studios said to the Chicago Tribune. Salata was promoted to president two weeks ago along with Erik Logan, another long-time producer.

"For more than two decades, you have this relationship with Chicago -- Chicago being our hometown city -- so that is our charge here, to keep this Chicago studio strong," Salata told the Tribune. "Without the 'Oprah' show, there definitely are some challenges to that. But at the same time, without the 'Oprah' show, the whole world has opened up in terms of the ability to take the time to do other things as well."

The presidential pair will continue to manage a studio that owns four of the top-rated syndicated shows -- Dr. Oz, Dr. Phil and Rachel Ray, along with Oprah's show.

"Under Sheri and Erik's leadership, I am confident in Harpo's future and know that we will continue to create quality programming with compelling content for all platforms," Winfrey said in a statement. "Not even the sky is the limit for this company."

Oprah's final show will air sometime in September 2011.
