After a delay of six months (its original site was sold before the show house could open its doors to the public), the Kips Bay Decorator Show House has finally returned. Twenty innovative interior designers fashioned the dazzling rooms to benefit the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. ShelterPop got a sneak peak of the 10,000-square-foot Manhattan estate, which includes this elegant, blue living area by Sherrill Canet. And guess what? Those glossy stripes are actually painted and not a wall covering. Another space that caught our eye was the brilliant bathroom by Coffinier Ku Designs that is filled with handblown glass bubbles. Of course, the artful spheres aren't very functional, but we love how they offer a whimsical touch to the otherwise classic haven. Read the ShelterPop post.
