In today's "people really like those dudes, huh?" news, The Temper Trap has announced that they will play three dates in New York at the end of March.
The Melbourne crew will play the Bowery Ballroom on March 28, and the Music Hall of Williamsburg on March 29 and March 30. You can get tickets here.
The Temper Trap's debut album Conditions was a slow-burn success that eventually went gold, at least in part due to the band absolutely beasting MTVU and the TV drama soundtrack game. They racked up placements for "Love Lost" and "Sweet Disposition" in "The Vampire Diaries," "90210," "Chuck" and so on.
And understandably so, as The Temper Trap brandished a shiny, danceable, somewhat indistinct but professionally catchy sound that fits nicely on a playlist among Phoenix, Chairlift and TV on the Radio.
No news at this moment about a new album, but this three-night stand could very well be the opening salvo in a sophomore campaign that will delight fans and soundtrack supervisors alike.
