A man was stabbed at a Family Dollar in Brooklyn Thursday afternoon, fire officials say.
Fire officials say that the man was taken to Kings County Hospital after the stabbing at the store on Atlantic Avenue near Ralph Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant shortly before 3 p.m.
His condition wasn't known.
Police were called to the scene, and a parking lot in the area was cordoned off with crime scene tape.
An employee at the store told NBC 4 New York that the victim in the attack was a manager. The store has been closed since the violence.
It's not clear if an arrest has been made in the case.
