Police are looking for two robbers who walked into a Brooklyn apartment and pointed a gun at a baby as they demanded valuables from the adult residents, authorities say.
The suspects walked into the apartment on East 49th Street in East Flatbush at about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, picked up a 1-year-old boy and pointed a gun at him, police said.
They told the adults they would take the child with them if they didn't comply, and after grabbing sneakers and electronics, threw the child to the ground and ran away.
"That's monstrous," said a neighbor upon hearing of the incident. "I can't even think of that, that's crazy... A baby is an innocent child."
The mother of the child, who did not want to show her face or be identified, said the baby is OK.
The suspects, believed to be in their early 20s, were both wearing bandanas over their faces.
