A bus accident on the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge has injured 16 people and caused extensive delays ahead of the evening rush Friday, authorities say.
Details of the crash weren't clear, but the FDNY said it tranported 16 people from a charter bus with non-life threatening injuries to Harlem and Lincoln hospitals.
The crash near the Queens-bound toll plaza of the bridge -- formerly the Triboro Bridge -- was causing extensive delays Friday afternoon but the scene was beginning to clear up by evening.
