1. Woman Gets Stuck in Manhattan Elevator for 3 Days
A woman was rescued Monday after being trapped in the elevator of a Manhattan townhouse for three days, authorities say.
The woman was stuck in the elevator of a townhouse on East 65th Street near Madison Avenue, one block from Central Park, authorities said.
The Associated Press reports the townhouse as being owned by a billionaire investment banker from Arkansas.

2. Couch Randomly Shows Up in Branches of Upper West Side Tree
A couch big enough to seat about three people suddenly appeared lodged in the branches of a tree on the Upper West Side — and no one knows for sure how it got there.
The wicker couch appeared in the tree outside of 711 Amsterdam Avenue four days ago, according to the West Side Rag.
Locals speculated that it blew off a nearby balcony during a recent windstorm.

3. El Chapo Cracks Smile as Actor Who Played Him Attends Trial
The actor who played the notorious drug lord known as El Chapo on a Netflix series has made a cameo as a spectator at the alleged kingpin's U.S. trail.
Alejandro Edda showed up to get a seat in a packed courtroom where Joaquin Guzman is fighting drug-trafficking charges.
Guzman cracked a smile when the "Narcos: Mexico" star was pointed out to him.
