Prosecutors say a Brooklyn man will go to prison for insulting or assaulting three white men in three days, threatening to kill them while shouting anti-white profanities.
Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez announced Wednesday that Kevin Raphael was sentenced to 1½-3 years behind bars after pleading guilty to assault as a hate crime.
Prosecutors say that last July, he confronted a man walking on a Brooklyn street with his pregnant wife and asked "What are you looking at?" while pointing at his own waistband as if it held a gun.
The next day, on a bus, the DA says Raphael punched a law student in the face, screaming that he hated whites. The third victim — a doctor on another bus —suffered a concussion after being punched.
