A 21-year-old woman was killed Saturday by a hit-and-run driver in Queens, police said.
The woman, who was identified as Betty Jean Dibiasio, was struck by the car at about 12:30 a.m. as she crossed Ditmars Boulevard in the Astoria neighborhood, investigators said. The driver never stopped after hitting the woman, police said.
Dibiasio sustained severe head trauma and was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital, police said.
