One construction worker was seriously hurt while another had minor injuries after a deck collapsed at a home under construction on Long Island, authorities said.
The workers were both at the home on Desoto Road in Copiague when the deck gave way, according to authorities. It's not clear what caused the collapse.
Chopper 4 footage from the scene shows the deck separated from the home, and debris appears to be strewn about the scene.
Both workers were taken to the hospital after the collapse.
The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration was notified of the collapse.
