A 30-year-old driver was killed Sunday morning when his vehicle struck a tree on Long Island, police said.
Thomas Kenny, of Yaphank, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 7 a.m. accident on Montauk Highway in East Moriches.
The cause of the crash, which happened just west of Bay Avenue, was still being investigated.
