What You're Doing Today, 7/3

Hear Here We Go Magic on the water, sing along with ‘Grease,’ and check out the most American document of all

CHILLS, MULTIPLYING: What could be more all-American than belting out the cotton-candy songs of "Grease" as John Travolta’s crotch thrusts in widescreen? Lincoln Center’s sing-along screening, part of its weekend-long Musical Marathon, starts at 12:45PM.

PARCHED: It may just look like a yellowed piece of paper (well, parchment), but the Declaration of Independence lets you breathe the air of a free man. Or woman. Go see the document itself – handwritten by T-Jeff – on display at the NY Public Library on Fifth Avenue today, and all weekend long, from 1-5PM.

TWOFER: The South Street Seaport’s free music series presents the very radio-ready Here We Go Magic, with equally poppy Bachelorette opening. A feelgood set of catchy tunes for a Friday night. 6PM.
