Palazzo Watch: LES's Grey Also on Hunt for Tenants

The similarities between the West Village's Palazzo Chupi and the Lower East Side's Palazzo Grey (remember?) are piling up. For one, they both involve sizable additions plopped on top of very old buildings. And now, mirroring Chupi's woes in finding someone (or more) to love it, Grand Street's Grey is seeking a business owner to give the building a shot. Very aggressively, in the opinion of Bowery Boogie, which writes, "Such an amazing opportunity that the cornershop is begging for business. Sounds like good, old-fashioned desperation." We wouldn't go that far. In the BelDel hinterlands, sometimes you gotta shout rather than whisper.
