West Village: The Feedbag reports that the incredibly new West Village spot Charles has already lost its head chef John McAllister, and a call to the owners confirm. They tell us they saw a menu that wasn't coming together in the way they'd hoped, so made the change they felt was necessary. The chef working as the number two under McAllister will be installed as the new exec, and we've heard of no changes regarding consulting chef John DeLucie.
