Tuesday through Friday, East Village standby Angelina Cafe is offering a daily "economic recession special," according to a sign on its door.
The sign reads, "Over the years you have allowed us to serve you great food for a reasonable price. Now with hard economic times amidst, as we all hope for a stronger American Economy, we would like to give back to you the support you have shown us."
Today's special: The lasagna, normally $14.95, is down to $10.
