Five hundred loyal Beyoncé Knowles fans waited in the freezing temperatures in Macy's Herald Square Wednesday to get a whiff of the pop superstar's debut fragrance, appropriately titled "Heat."

The "Single Ladies" singer had every reason to smile as she beamed on stage at the department store wearing a leggy navy dress and red peep-toe pumps.

Just off the heels of winning a record six Grammy awards on Sunday, the most for a female artist in one night, Knowles' perfume venture is looking to a set a record of its own.

Woman's Wear Daily reported that with the fragrance priced at a steep $122 per set, Macy's made approximately $60,000 in its first day's sales, alone.

The site also said Knowles celebrated the perfume launch on Tuesday night at a private Union Square residence, alongside her husband rapper-entrepreneur  "Jay-Z", Usher, former Destiny Child's group member Michelle Williams, and others.
