    Gus Rosendale

    Gus Rosendale joined NBC 4 New York as a breaking news reporter on the 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts. He is also a fill-in anchor. Rosendale joined News 4 New York in February 2012 from KSTP-TV (ABC) in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN where he served as a weekday anchor on the 9 and 11 p.m. newscasts, a field anchor for breaking news as well as special assignment reporter. Prior to that, Rosendale came from WPTZ-TV (Hearst/NBC) in Plattsburgh, NY and Burlington, VT where he anchored the weekday 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts. There he won a New York State AP Award for Best Newscast in 2008.

    Rosendale first joined the NBC family in 2000 as a weekday reporter and weekend evening anchor at WPTZ-TV where he covered the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics. He was honored by the New York and Vermont AP Award for breaking and general news coverage. 
    Rosendale received his degree in Journalism and Political Science from the American University in Washington, D.C.
