2 Men Stabbed in Wild Brawl on Brooklyn Street: NYPD, Witnesses

Two men were stabbed in Brooklyn Tuesday evening during a wild brawl involving a larger group of men, all captured on cellphone video, police and witnesses say.

The fight started on Wilson Street at about 6 p.m., eventually involving about six or seven men, according to witnesses.

Marcos Mesre said he saw his neighbor swept up in the melee.

"He was bleeding from his face," he said. "It was tough, a disaster."

Mesre's neighbor ran, and the other men got into a blue hatchback and chased him with their vehicle, according to Mesre.

"They were driving very recklessly, hitting other cars," he said.

The melee ended on Division Street, though it's unclear where exactly the stabbings took place.

A 21-year-old man was stabbed in the neck and an 18-year-old man was stabbed in the chest, and both were transported to Bellevue Hospital. Their conditions weren't immediately known.

It's not clear what sparked the fight. No arrests have yet been made.
