A vigil has been scheduled to honor four men who died in a car crash on their way home from work at a horse show venue in the Hudson Valley.
The one-car crash in the village of Saugerties Wednesday killed 24-year-old Kaireem Meeks Jr., 26-year-old Jante Clark, 22-year-old Dante Crump, and 22-year-old Adam McQueen. The car's driver, 19-year-old Meredith McSpirit, is hospitalized at Albany Medical Center.
Police said it's too early to say if the crash was related to human error, criminality or mechanical problems.
A vigil is planned at 7 p.m. Saturday in Kingston near the homes of two of the men who died. It's being organized by Kingston Fourth Ward Councilwoman Nina Dawson.
