Police are looking for three men who allegedly impersonated police officers while robbing and assaulting a man in a Bronx apartment building last month.
Two of the three suspects were wearing fake police badges around their necks when they entered the apartment building near Willis Avenue in Mott Haven at about 9 p.m. on Aug. 18, police said.
Video shows the robbers rushing toward the 30-year-old victim in a hallway, and one of them pulling out what appears to be a gun.
One of the men pulled a gun on the victim while another punched him in the face, piercing the side of the man’s mouth, police said.
The three men fled the scene after taking the victim’s cellphone and a bag containing sneakers.
