Suspect Sought in Assault on Bus in Queens: Police

The assault occurred at around noon on July 8 while the Q66 bus

Police are looking for a man who slugged a bus passenger in the face last month in Queens.

Investigators on Saturday released surveillance video showing the man approach the victim with a closed fist and punch him in the face.

The assault occurred at around noon on July 8 while the Q66 bus had stopped at the intersection of 21st Street and 35th Avenue, according to a police report. After punching the victim, the suspect left the bus through a rear exit.

The 32-year-old victim was treated for a facial cut at a local hospital.
