Patient Who Escaped Queens Psychiatric Hospital Found at Tennessee Bus Stop: NYPD

The patient who escaped a psychiatric hospital in Queens Tuesday after swapping clothes with a friend who was visiting him was found Wednesday night at a bus terminal in Tennessee, the NYPD says.

The patient, 33-year-old Raymond Morillo, walked out of the Creedmoor Psychiatric Center on Winchester Boulevard in Queens Village after a friend traded the clothes he was wearing for Morillo’s hospital garb, police say.

The man turned up more than 1,000 miles away, at a Greyhound station in Memphis, Tenn., where he was arrested by police.

Morillo, a convicted felon, will be held by authorities there until he is extradited back to New York.
