Pregnant Woman Shot in Yonkers: Police

Police say a pregnant woman was shot in Yonkers Thursday evening.

The woman was shot near 541 Bronx River Rd. at about 9 p.m., police said. She was taken to Jacobi Medical Center. It's not clear where on the body she was hit, or how badly she was hurt.

No further information was immediately available. Police are continuing to investigate.
