Police in Westport, Conn., are investigating an accident in which a car flew into a home, taking out part of the wall.

The accident happened on Post Road East at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday, according to police. Emergency responders arrived to find two cars in an accident, with one of them inside the house.

No one was injured in the accident, and no one was home at the time of the crash, though several pets were removed from the home, according to police.

The car was removed from the building, and the owner of the property was making arrangements to have it boarded up.

The cause of the accident wasn't immediately clear.
