New Jersey Blue Laws Back in Effect

Retail stores in Bergen County will once again close on Sundays

New Jersey's blue laws are back in effect this weekend.

Retail stores in Bergen County will once again close on Sundays.

The county suspended the laws to allow residents affected by Sandy to make necessary purchases.

Last week, plenty of people took advantage of the suspension, heading to the Garden State Plaza Mall in Paramus.

But yesterday, Gov. Chris Christie signed an ordinance putting the blue laws back in place.
