A Brooklyn man has been charged with several counts of attempted murder after he allegedly tossed a bicycle out of an apartment window and hit an officer standing below in the head, police say.

Bryan Jiminez, 35, was arrested after the officer was injured by the flying bicycle early on Sunday outside an apartment on St. Marks Avenue in Crown Heights, police say.

The officer, who was at the scene helping other cops detain a suspect, was taken to the hospital with head lacerations and was in stable condition.

Jiminez is charged with four counts each of attempted murder of an officer, assault of an officer, assault, menacing a police officer and reckless endangerment. He was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
