Man Arrested for Helping Suspects Attack, Rob His Own Roommate: NYPD

Police have arrested a man for allegedly helping two men armed with stun guns and knives break into his own Queens apartment and attack his roommate in an October robbery.

Antonio Cordova, 41, allegedly showed the two suspects how to get into the apartment on Elm Avenue in Flushing, which they broke into around 4 a.m. on Oct. 3, the NYPD said.

The men stunned and slashed the 30-year-old victim before taking money and two watches, police said.

The victim took himself to Flushing Hospital, where he was treated and released.

Cordova was charged with robbery and criminal possession of a weapon. It wasn’t clear if he had an attorney.

Police are still looking for the two suspects involved in the robbery (surveillance video above). Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
