Police are searching for a man in connection with a reported child luring incident in Queens Friday.

Police say a man in a late-model Cadillac Escalade drove alongside a 13-year-old girl as she walked on Northern Boulevard near 102nd Street in Jackson Heights at about 7 a.m. He began speaking with her, and the girl approached the man.

After the girl realized she didn't know the man, she began walking away from the vehicle, police said. The man then got out of the car, approached her and grabbed her by the arm.

The girl was able to pull away and flee.

The suspect is described as being in his early to mid-30s, about 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches, 170 pounds, and last seen wearing a black jacket, dark pants and a blue collared shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
