A gunman walked into a Brooklyn warehouse Monday morning and shot two men before he briefly barricaded himself inside and committed suicide, police said.
Workers say the gunman came into the building at 13th Street and Hamilton Place in Gowanus asking about a job. He was directed to the manager's office and that's when he pulled a gun out of his bag and started shooting.
He then refused to leave for some time, as police tried to coax him out. He also threw some type of incendiary device into a hallway.
Eventually, the man killed himself, police said.
Both shooting victims were expected to recover.
