Robber Posed as Flower Deliverywoman in Armed Bronx Heist: NYPD

A woman was beaten, tied up and robbed by armed suspects in her Bronx home after answering the door to a woman holding flowers, claiming it was a delivery, police say.

Holding a bundle of flowers, the female suspect went to the apartment on East 169th Street on March 17 and said, “flower delivery,” according to police.

When the victim opened the door, the woman and two men wearing masks forced their way inside, punching the victim in the face and knocking her down.

Then, the female suspect pulled out a silver gun and demanded the woman to cooperate, police said. The victim struggled as the female suspect and one of the men tried to tie her up with duct tape. Meanwhile, the the third suspect rummaged through a bedroom closet.

After finding cash, the suspects left the house, police said.
